Beside the precious silk of Como there is ebony, synonymous with value and exoticism. This essence contains an aesthetic universe that seduces craftsmen and buyers. Originally from the warm countries of the world such as Indonesia, Sri Lanka and central Africa, ebony was discovered by the Dutch, the first to import it and use it in the creation of furnishings. Today this essence still enjoys the ancient reputation, that is, hard wood, compact and resistant to humidity, difficult to work with. Ultimately, the careful sanding of the ebony represents one of the aspects that makes the Limpero and Limpero Gioiello bow ties light and velvety to the touch. The surfaces are protected with ecological water-based products that lend shine and elegance to the creations, without hiding the typical veins of this precious wood.

The line of jewel bow ties involves the creation of men’s bow ties in olive wood, an essence with unique characteristics in terms of hardness and compactness, difficult to scratch. Usually, large branches, trunks and roots are used in the processing of the olive tree, but not before they are subjected to years of seasoning. Only in this way can this wood be worked to create unforgettable objects. But the considerable beauty of the olive wood lies essentially in the yellow-brown tones, with strong light and dark veins, which determine the uniqueness of each Limpero Gioiello Ulivo bow tie.
Marzù jewel bow ties have the peculiar characteristic of being embellished with Murano glass, one of the ambassadors of Made in Italy materials in the world. Glass is the result of the fusion of silica at high temperatures and it is exactly in the transition from solid to liquid that it becomes soft and malleable, allowing the master glassmaker to mold it into unique and unmistakable works. The centuries-old experience of the Murano glass masters has allowed the experimentation of different materials during the manufacturing process, so as to modify the appearance of the glass with suggestive and fascinating aesthetic effects.
